what’s an excuse for the hospital when you have two Stabs in your upper arm?

Question 1
what’s an excuse for the hospital when you have two Stabs in your upper arm?…  instead of the truthh pleaseeeee!!!!

Answers
1)   i stabbed myself because there was a fly on my arm and i want to kill it, but it got away and i stabbed myself. – unknown

2)   just tell them the truth. if you lie they might get suspicious and it could turn out bad. – K

3)   I’m not quite sure what you want to know. Do you want an excuse not to go to hospital after you’ve been stabbed in your arm? Or are you talking about an excuse for the hospital not treating you for stab wounds?

If it’s the first, I’d say go to the hospital, and yes, you may have to answer some questions why you were stabbed, and this may involve the police in the end. If it’s the second, no hospital should refuse you to be treated for stab wounds. Go to the A&E (UK) or Emergency Room (USA) as soon as you can. – Belgian maiden

4)   Well what’s the truth? That you were stabbed while committing a heinous crime? Murder/drugs/rape? Suffer. Please get gangrene.

Did you try to hurt yourself? Tell the truth so you can get help.

Did someone hurt you you’re protecting? Same as above. If someone hurt you they should pay the consequences. – C

5)   Please dont look for excuses.. the truth is the only way. I dont know the details of what has happened to you, but stab wounds in your arm are serious. Whether self inflicted or inflicted by someone else, you seem to need more help than merely a few stitches. Please tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may.

A lie may take care of the present, but it has no future. ~Author Unknown – JACKIE R

6)   Make up something about a wild trip with garden tools. Contrary to popular opinion, the hospital doesn’t really care so much about how you got the wounds. – Lynx

7)   They already know because you posted it on the web. Even if you are protecting the person who did it, or if you did even worse to them, or they have some hold over you, or it’s self inflicted, you have already spilled the beans to six billion people.

You should be truthful at the hospital because you have shown you are not good at keeping secrets. – Dan M

I know that i can ice it but i really am hoping that there is something that i can take to make the day and my arm more usefull/tolerable. Please help!!!

Answers
1)   I recommend Advil. Call a pharmacist and ask how much you can take safely and take as much as you can. (Advil is ibuprophen and in high doses was known as Motrin)

I have had 2 cervical spine surgeries, and I have also taken Aleve for the pain.

Try both, but don’t exceed the dosage of either without professional advice. – Susan

2)   You should use Tramadol, it is the best about it you can get information from here http://mdans56.notlong.com/9AAYwXP – Hattie Romriell

3)   Hello, I’m a doctor. Use Tramadol. I think that you want to get more info about it. Please go to —-> http://webmd65.notlong.com/AAYwXPO – Maybelle H

4)   For most people with symptoms of thoracic outlet syndrome, physical therapy and exercise result in improvement. Surgery may be needed if an anatomic abnormality or blockage of the subclavian artery is confirmed. However, because a definitive diagnosis is difficult to make and because symptoms often persist after surgery, most doctors try to avoid surgery. Otherwise, acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen may be taking, if you have significant pain until you see your doctor for consultation.

I hope this helps you. And good luck. – imsety

7)   Hm. Could be a lot of things.

Maybe ask your parents?

If I were you, I’d go see your optometrist.

Or a regular doctor.

Ask their opinion.

It could be some sort of visual migraine. Does your head hurt afterwards?

It also could be floaters of some sort.

Actually, it’s pretty likely floaters.

I don’t get them, but I’ve had people describe them to me & they sound a lot like that.

Like I said, go see an eye doctor about it. :]

Good luck. I hope it’s nothing serious :]

Don’t be scared ♥

EDIT: light illusions? Could definitely be a type of visual migraine.

I’ve had one before.

It freaked me out at first. I could see this weird little light thing that looking like a tiny C-shaped lightning bolt. I could see it in both eyes, open or closed. [Because it has to do with the part of the brain that interprets what we see, rather than the eyes themselves]

Ask your parents about it.

Some things are genetic.

If they’ve had the same problems, they can help you :)Always Wondering

8)   Ooh, I’ve seen this before. In fact, I myself had this same disease as a child. It can be referred to as "Cliptoflemia", which comes from the greek word " Cliptosaurus Rex". It means to have indepth characterization of that which is there beneath the true vertex of ones eye. See, only few see through their peripherals as a main sight, but those who do are much more capable of seeing then the rest.

It could be floaters as someone else mentioned but you should still get that checked out. I had floaters suddenly when I was 18 but it turned out they were caused by an illness. Not to scare you or anything though.

Also, what you may be seeing might be neurological (if I am thinking of the correct term). Hopefully they are not hallucinations. If they are, then it is also very important to see a doctor.

2)   No. It will be fine. It may cause you to feel pain though. But if you don’t that’s great. – Rupert G

3)   YES!!!!!! It’s like putting gasoline on a fire!! You should take a cooler shower, not cold, mind you, just not hot. Even if it doesn’t hurt, it’s still burnt and you need to take care of it. – Marti

4)   Yes.

Don’t take a cold shower. Take a cool shower preferably. Or at the very least a tepid, lukewarm shower. Don’t even take a warm shower.

But go ahead and take a hot shower if you want more pain. You’ll be happiest with a cool shower. And actually, you’ll be happiest with a cool bath if you have a bathtub. Bath trumps shower when you have a sunburn. And don’t rub your skin. A nice, cool oatmeal bath will make your skin and pain receptors the happiest. – crazyskyblue

5)   Yes, it’s bad.

A burn is painful (usually) and even if it’s not, it is still a burn.

Now, as this goes away, you’re skin may peel and be very very dry.

Hot/warm water can and more than likely will exacerbate the drying affect and make it difficult to reverse.

Lukewarm-cool shower, not ice cold that you can’t handle it, will help sooth any pain you may feel if there is any that will show up, and it will help with the burn. Perhaps like slightly warmer than cool indoor pool water that’s fine for swimming in.

Start with cool water. If as time goes on, gradually make it warmer, so maybe you’ll only end up in warm water for a shorter amount of time, without freezing or making your burn worse/dryer.

I did that last summer & it worked like a charm.

Good luck!

Good luck, and – Anonymous
