Lower back pain question?… I have been have a really sharp pain in my lower back near my butt and my hip. The pain goes all the way down my leg. I have it on both sides but mainly my right side. The pain hits me when I am standing at work and it interferes with my work because I stand my whole shift.

Any time you have low back pain that radiates into BOTH legs, and/or all the way down one leg, you have a potentially very serious condition. It might be wise to have a thorough evaluation by your family Chiropractor or other appropriately trained health care professional.

2) Chances are your back is very tight and you have a lot of stress. Try a heating pad on your lower back, you can alternate with ice a couple times, 15-20 min. each. Take an anti-inflamitory (such as ibuprofen) medication also. Try this at least once a day for a week, then get a professional massage. If still no results see a chiropractor. If you have other symptoms that your embarrassed about such as loss of bowel or incontinence defiantly seek medical help sooner rather than later. Good Luck! – mhinp

I need help/suggestions on how to quit masterbating?… I know for some people it may be natural but I’ve fell into the obsessive compulsive cycle of masturbating on a daily basis and i’d like to stop. It’s like every time I do it I Ejaculate less of actual semen its like weak and short lasted I don’t even get pleasure anymore I’m just addicted help PLEASE
I am 18 yes. And I know im a teenager but its not normal if you can’t quit doing it for a day and im to embaressd to go a thearapist i’d jus like to move on with my life and quit doing it

Why does my chest hurt so bad?… ok so when i lay down on my chest, on either the ground, a floor or any flat hard surface and i stay there for a while, 15 min, i get up, and my chest feels like i just had 200lbs pushing on it, my ribs are all sore and it feels like its being crushed it, its pretty painful, why does this happen? how to make it stop?
ok it doesnt hurt that bad, but its just like a soreness
Its all over the front of my ribcage, on my ribs, i have very little muscle or fat or anything on my ribs so idk what it is, and it only happens when i lay down

1) you should go see the doc,last time the same happen to my ex and he didn’t wanted to go but then we found out that one of his lungs was pierced he could die,he got operated,hope you don’t have the same but def check it – satine

Question 4
what’s wrong with my knee?… 2 years ago while hunting in the mountains my knee started making a clicking noise the next day it was painfull to walk on and I limped out. I havn’t been in the mountains for 2 years so I whent for a climb, my knee seems to be ok on the flat but gets painfull whenever I walk up or downhill. I whent to the doctor, he pulled and pushed it then perscribed a course of ibuprofen that I have decided no to take as my knee is not in pain on flat ground. The injury is likely due to over use but what have I injured and how do I fix it?

2) I would go to an orthopedist and get an x-ray and real opinion. The knee is rather complicated with many ligaments holding things in place. You could have a bone chip of a piece of cartilage that has migrated and is getting in the way. They can fix most things using tiny opening and scopes. Might as well get it fixed as this seems to be chronic and you don’t need it. – Vortex
3) I would just take the ibuprofen when hunting in the mountains… when it hurts, which is what it is for. As for injuries of overuse, there is no cure. you just have to either deal with the pain or give up what you love.

Question 5
How do you prevent broken toes?… I used house shoes and I still have the same problem, I stub my feet/ toes/ other various body parts into doors and walls. This is literally an everyday occurrence for me. But, the last time it happened, the pain didn’t numb after a few minutes. I slammed my toe into a door, and now I believe it’s broken. How do I prevent this from happening again, because now I can’t even walk properly.

1) You could always try paying attention to where you’re going. When I first got my bed lofted, I banged my head a few times on the rail. Then I realized that I didn’t like getting black eyes and knots on top of my head, so I tried the technique of "watching where I was going." It worked wonders. – Tiktaalik
2) Use normal, running shoes that will cover your whole foot. Also, wrapping them in some self-adhesive bandage tape could help too.

3) Wear steel toe boots everywhere? Or you could get shoes with a hard plate on the bottom that would take the abuse for you. – gym-maddie
