Question 1
What should I do about my tense neck muscles =/?… my neck muscles, and just above my back (trapezius muscles) hurt…
Mostly all my muscles in the upper part of my body. It’s been like this for a month now.
Very tense and sore. I haven’t done anything about it because I thought it’s gonna go away.
I didn’t do any sort of excercise either..
What should I do about this?
Answers
1) tense it some more – Sam San
2) buy some bath oils to help ease the muscles and have a nice hot bath with them, also while your in the bath massage your neck going around in circles, if this doesnt work within 1-2 weeks please consult your doctor – cleo_angel
3) You have to release them to get them loosened up. Because there are some shared muscles into the back area you may find releasing them to be helpful as well. Here’s how to release your neck and back muscles:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your head. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. After 45 seconds, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
With your neck in the lowered position, replace your thumbs in under the ears and your fingers behind your head but right next to your skull this time. Press your fingers and thumbs together again and hold. Relax your body while waiting. When the muscles have all released, slowly lift your head until it’s level again, release the pressure but hold your head like that for another 30 seconds.
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed. – Douglas B
4) I would try to stretch out your muscles. Maybe get a massage. Sounds like you might need to see a doctor since its been over a month. Hope your pain goes away! – Derek
5) you could buy a heating pack. Put it on the part thats hurting the most. You can also get your mom or someone to try to make it less tense by lightly rubbing it. if it is still hurting take some advil or payne pills. hope this helps. – lova123
6) Does massaging it help? I mean it might feel a bit achy but kinda good at the same time?
I think youve pulled a muscle and rest is good for that. Ask someone you trust to give you a 20 minute back rub and give it a bit of pressure. If it lasts longer than a month see your Doc and he’ll have a look. – Monica J
7) idk – Luli Schanider

Question 2
I’m tired all the time?! What is wrong with me?!?… I can go to sleep at about mightnight and wake up at midday the next day and still be as tired as I was when I went to sleep, it feels like i’ve not slept at all! It makes me feel horrible! I find it hard to concentrate in class when i’m at college (before we broke up for summer) I’m hoping to figure out what to do by the time I have to go back to college for the next year as it’s going to be harder. I find it hard to keep my mind fixated on what the teacher is saying and I often end up saying I don’t understand because I’ve not been able to keep the attention I would have liked. When I was at placement (a school for my course) I found it really hard to keep up with the children unless I’d had an energy drink to help me stay awake.
Any help? Should I confide in my doctor and see what he says? I don’t like having tests done so if I could avoid that it would be great
I only drank the energy drinks twice a week, and even then it was once a day, I know it harms me in one way or another but i still dunno what to do :/
The thing is, ever since school i’ve been feeling like this.. But I don’t think i’m depressed? I’ve been feeling really low the past few days but i’m not sure i’m depressed…
I don’t eat breakfast as it makes me sick, could that be to do with it?!
I sometimes sleep at the same time, I try to go to sleep about 11-12 in the holidays but about 3 weeks before I go back to school/ college I try and sleep about 10-11 to try and keep it the same but in the holidays I can sleep in till midday but when I have to get up for college I have to be up at 7am and then I rely on the energy drink to keep me going all day.
I get a fair amount of fresh air every day as I got a new dog and I have to keep an eye on him when he’s in the back garden but I also take him for walks in the evening.
I don’t smoke or drink but my mums smokes, would that be effecting me like this?
I try and drink water but I don’t like the taste of it without juice in it so I tend to put juice in it.. would it still be doing the same or not?
Answers
1) Stop drinking energy drinks, first off. I suggest a few things, a choice of better drinks, like water, juice, etc. and bee pollen capsule -one a day-, flax seed oil capsule -one a day-, fish oil capsules -three a day-, a multivitamin once a day. Start eating in moderation and healthier too. My day starts out with oatmeal, two hard boiled eggs, not fried, and about 12 ounces of OJ, and the rest of the day water or green tea. That helped me
good luck. – Cthulhu
2) My DR. told me that i could be developing a goiter problem, from lack of iodine which will make you tired Have a check up on that. – Bald Eagle
3) Are you are feeling depressed ?that can make you feel tired all the time…. if so see a doc x – Vicky Webb
4) Check out WebMD for symptom diagnosis as there are conditions that cause this. Also, try to remember when you didn’t feel like this and ask yourself what is different now. Is it nutrition, lifestyle, anxiety keeping you from deep sleep, or do you simply need a new bed? – Black Sal
5) I know this feeling all too well! I find I’m often tired for no apparent reason and rely on Red Bull to keep me going.
From the research that I’ve done there are numerous things that could be affecting your energy levels.
Do you eat well and often? – Perhaps your diet needs to be addressed, I find constant snacks and fast food make me feel a lot more tired.
Do you sleep at fixed times? – If you keep a reasonably strict sleeping pattern you’ll find your body is more used to being awake when you want it to be, rather than having to rely on the energy drink to shake your body into action.
Do you drink plenty of water? – Its amazing how many people I know that barely drink anything at all in a day. I’ve found that when I drink a lot more water than I do normally I feel a lot more "refreshed" and more able to focus on the task at hand.
Alcohol / Cigarettes? – Drinking a tonne of alcohol constantly definitely takes it out of your body’s energy levels. Even if you feel fine when you wake up, if you’re constantly going out drinking your body will slowly get more tired without you really realising. Smoking of course, putting all the anti-smoking obviousness out of the way, is another factor.
Fresh Air ? – Do you get much fresh air? Sounds silly, but it can make a massive difference, even if just walking down to the shop for a bar of chocolate or something each day.
Hope that this is of some help to you
I very rarely manage to stick to all of these ideas, but when I do, it does help considerably so. – Lucid
6) diabetes causes dizziness and fatigue, avoid sugar.
eat small meals at regular times. – tim g

Answers
1) Most likely from over-exertion or some injury caused by drunkenness. – herblaura
2) Kidneys! Drink lots of water, you also could have slept in an uncomfortable position but the effects of the alcohol prevented you from ‘feeling it’ and shifting in your sleep. – signaleerodayear
3) Could be your kidneys playing up. – mankygoat
4) Back pain is a sign of pinched muscles in your back. That can happen for any variety of reasons from twisting your body wrong, bending over or just sleeping on it wrong. You have to release the muscles in your back to get rid of the pain and here’s how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. Question 5
Help . I almost fainted/passed out in the shower why?… Today is the second day of my period and this day is usually heavy. I woke up and took a shower because my pad got soaked. I went to the shower and I usually change the knob from hot to cold and vise versa. I had cramps so i change the water hot. I started getting weak and I saw some black spots and I thought I was going to faint so I left the shower and drank some water and i breathe into a rubbing bottle. My sister said my face was pale and my lips were white. I feel better now but I got bad cramps now. My sister thinks that I almost passed out from the amount of blood thats coming down. Please help.
Answers
1) I’ve had that happen before. Your blood sugar or iron levels might’ve dropped. Hormones are a wonderful thing, aren’t they? I’d just take it easy today. Things like this happen on heavy flow days. – The Ween
2) This happens to me too sometimes except i throw up and get bad headaches too. Just take advil or a pain killer the MINUTE you know your on your period. This should help a lot! Oh and try and eat light food. Nothing too heavy. – farrah raelynn:)
3) Make sure you take iron supplements during heavy stages of your period. All that blood loss causes your blood to lose iron, and iron allows oxygen to get to your red blood cells, with a loss of blood/lack of iron you feel week. Sounds like temporary anemia (anemia is what i’m describing with the low iron in the blood). When anemics have low levels of iron in the blood, they get really weak like that and sometimes faint. Go buy an iron supplement, in vitamin form. Maybe a multi-vitamin that includes iron would be best. – Elizabeth Smith
4) your sister is probably right it was probably the amount of blood coming down at one time and some times when a person takes a hot shower that can evenm do it ifthe water is to hot .
you look like a really beautiful lady from your pic good luck – Duane
